This position pays a minimum salary of $63,440.00. It may be increased based on skills, experience, and education of the successful candidate.

POSITION CONCEPT:
The Technology Analyst I provides user support for ERP/SAP Systems and approaches the role with a basic functional knowledge and skill to perform duties following established procedures and guidelines. Receives guidance from higher level Technology Analyst and Manager, expands that knowledge to be able to apply simple analytical skills to assignments of low complexity, and requires general supervision. This role receives training and mentoring from Technology Analyst II, IT Technical Staff and outside educators.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide user support for ERP/SAP System and other corporate processes and procedures. Review current processes and make recommendations to the Center of Excellence for program changes, upgrades and/or redesign to provide more functionality and ensure efficiency of data control to support the application.
  • Monitor supported applications to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Assist in troubleshooting system problems for supported applications and interfaces, analyze and recommend solutions, research and test modifications for SAP.
  • Assist with implementing changes to processes and/or software for Procurement and end-user. Perform validation testing, maintain system data integrity and approve design.
  • Maintain training programs and develop end-user documentation and materials related to supported software applications, business processes and contingency systems associated with emergency preparedness. Facilitate both formal and informal training.
  • Provide data to users as requested in the form of routine reports, data extracts, and queries. May create ad-hoc reports of low complexity.
  • Administer the P-Card and Travel Management systems for the Company. Monitor the applications to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
EDUCATION:
Required: Valid High School Diploma or valid GED
Preferred: A two year business or related technology degree is desirable.

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Minimum of two years of work experience related to the duties & responsibilities of this position within the business areas or functions as required
Preferred: Related experience consists of business support in the ERP/SAP System, performing report writing, data extracts, queries and analysis.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites with emphasis in Excel and Access. Knowledge in purchasing, inventory or materials management systems. In-depth knowledge and understanding of purchasing and storeroom procedures and ability to access potential auditing conflicts. Strong understanding of interactions of field contents from multiple tables within databases to ensure accurate reporting results.

Preferred: Knowledge in ERP/SAP environment.
