Job Title: Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator

Responsibilities of the Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator
EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking an Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator to support the U.S. Army in Radford, VA or Ft. Belvoir, VA. The Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator is responsible for comprehensive management of the middleware layer, encompassing both Oracle Fusion Middleware and OBIEE. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing the middleware infrastructure to ensure robust, secure, and efficient operation. The Administrator will handle installations, configurations, updates, and ongoing maintenance within Linux environments, ensuring alignment with the highest standards of performance and security dictated by military requirements.

The Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator will:
  • Architect and maintain Oracle Fusion Middleware and OBIEE infrastructure, ensuring high standards of availability and performance.
  • Install, configure, and manage Application and Web Servers, Portals, and associated software products.
  • Support both UAT and production environments, including project releases and updates.
  • Develop and maintain system monitoring and administrative dashboards for proactive system management.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, including ALTESS and Army regulations.
  • Automate routine administration tasks using IT configuration management, deployment, and orchestration tools.
  • Perform troubleshooting and technical support during system outages or performance degradations.
  • Document system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps in ServiceNow.
  • Regularly review and update system configurations to comply with Army Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of related work experience or Master's degree with 10+ years of related work experience.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with WebLogic/Oracle Fusion Middleware and OBIEE administration.
  • Proficiency in Linux OS administration.
  • Strong understanding of application server architecture within large enterprise environments.
  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting network architectures, including firewall and port management.
  • Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and its applications in secure communications.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certified
  • Active Security Clearance
