You will inspect materials, parts and products at different stages of production. Responsibilities: Quality Control and Inspection: Perform basic level inspections on the production floor to ensure adherence to established quality standards. Process Audits: Conduct detailed process audits to verify compliance with internal and customer-specific criteria, as well as general good practices. Documentation Review: Examine documentation to ensure consistency between the bill book, in-house criteria, customer requirements, and actual processes followed. Criteria Verification: Ensure all processes and documentation meet required standards, including IPC 620 wiring standards. Analyze and Evaluate Information: Assess wiring, terminals, and schematics for accuracy and compliance. Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret documentation blueprints is highly advantageous. Team Interaction: Engage in one-on-one interactions with assemblers, warehouse staff, engineers, and supervisors to inform them of findings and ensure standards are maintained. Communication: Report observations and compliance issues to the operations team and supervisors. Compliance Maintenance: Ensure that all processes, standards, and codes are adhered to, maintaining a high level of quality and compliance. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Basic knowledge of quality control and inspection processes. Familiarity with IPC 620 wiring standards or willingness to learn. Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and documentation blueprints. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team interaction. Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments is a plus.Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing by completing reports and logs; input data into quality database. Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner. Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration. Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function. Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists. Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervise. Qualifications: High School Degree or equivalent experience required. 2 years required, 3 years preferred of quality inspector experience. Ability to analyze information. Ability to report research results. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Strong math skills. Ability to use measurement equipment. Basic computer skills.
