Fidelity Medicare services technology team is seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Engineer to support and drive the overall efficiency, stability, and health of our cloud platform. A combination of ETL and Java skillset is a must. You should have hands on experience of ETL/ELT tools (Informatica/Snaplogic) along with RMDS experience (Snowflake, Oracle). Your role will be to deliver data centric data integration solutions with transformation logic to be consumed by our customers. You will be responsible to work with the Data Architects, Business Analysts, Customers and Solution Architects when integrating data with end to end development activities. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to mentor technical peers is encouraged.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • Experience with designing and developing data integration solution
  • Experience with ETL methods and tools such as SnapLogic
  • Experience working with data and databases, ideally Postgres (Aurora RDS) or similar
  • Proficient in Java and experienced in developing RESTful APIs
  • Working knowledge of Cloud platforms and Services (AWS, S3, Lambda, RDS)
  • Experience with data modeling techniques
  • System automation by setting up CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity of Data Warehousing methodologies and concepts
  • Ability to perform independent technical analysis on complex projects
Desired
  • Advanced experience delivering web applications and services in a distributed environment
  • Full-stack development experience using Java, Angular, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Spring Boot
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services capabilities, AWS certification is preferred
  • Experience with Cloud databases, preferably with Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB
  • Hands-on development experience of RESTful APIs, and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design
  • Experience with system analysis, application security and secure code validation with Veracode/Fortify or similar tools.
  • Experience in SCRUM or other agile development processes
  • Knowledge of writing automated tests using a testing framework such as Junit, Protractor or other
  • Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management Tools (e.g. Stash, Jenkins, Concourse Cloud Formation and Containers)
  • Familiarity with DevOps


The Value You Deliver

The Full Stack Engineer will work closely with Architects, business analysts, UXD and DevOps, helping to design and develop new products and platforms. He / she will also help to inform the strategy for building out our Medicare digital product, including re-usable technical components and RESTful services. They will help develop and documentation standards and guidelines, upgrade/maintenance strategies and help to mentor more junior team members.
Candidates must be comfortable working with a small team of developers, analysts and design in a fast paced and highly ambiguous environment working with emerging technologies.
