This position requires a desire to work with extremely difficult youth. Children who can be aggressive and/or assaultive. This position requires our staff to use therapeutic physical intervention after training. They are great kids that need strong motivated staff that can redirect problematic behavior. Minimum requirements for this position

Summary/Objective
The Supervisor position is responsible for maintaining the operations of the household during swing and weekend shifts. This includes cleanliness and safety. This position works in direct support to the Program Manager/Director and house Manager to ensure proper compliance with regulatory entities. The Supervisor must show excellent teamwork capabilities and be a positive coach and role model.
This position reports directly to the Director
Essential Functions

- Transportation arrangements for clients to go to appointments and other activities.
- Maintaining safety and cleanliness to ensure compliance and licensing standards. This includes delegating to direct care staff some of the tasks that are to be accomplished while on shift.
- Allowances, Daily tasks, and delegation of tasks that ensure productive day to day operations.
- Maintain correct weekly time reporting of all staff. Authority to follow-up and report any staff not complying with timekeeping policies and procedures.
- Ensure documentation is up to date and maintained. Ex. Hygiene logs, shift change fill-in, updates, memos, and any other documentation that ensures house production.
- Attend and participate in house meetings, leadership training, and any other applicable or required training and meetings.
- The Supervisor is tasked with communicating information, tasks, or updates from Program Manager/Director or Manager to the Direct Care staff.
- The supervisor is tasked with training new employees adhering to the training checklist.
- Supervisors are to be team players in the management of the program they are assigned to.
- Supervisors are expected to be mentors and coaches for all line staff.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has direct supervisory duties to staff working in the house and as a coach and mentor for other positions in the company.
This is a management position and as such requires Supervisors to attend meetings and cover open shifts when coverage is needed.
Work Environment
This job operates in a home-like environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. It also requires the use of home equipment such as stove, oven, washer, dryer, dishwasher and other items that are used to care for our clients.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some lifting may be required. This would require the ability to push, pull, clean, cook, open or close doors, climb stairs, and sit, bending or standing.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and this position regularly requires long hours and frequent over-time work. This position requires you to work evenings and weekends. This position offers five days of requested time off per calendar year. This time can be unpaid or paid depending on the PTO hours accrued. After one full year of employment in this position an additional 3 days of paid time off is given.
