Job Purpose: The primary purpose of the Class A D.O.T. Driver is to transport Maxco Supply's products and materials safely and efficiently to various destinations, complying with all Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Safe Transportation: Operate Class A transport vehicles to deliver Maxco Supply's products and materials to various destinations.Ensure the safe loading and unloading of products, using appropriate equipment and following safety guidelines. Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) regulations, including hours of service, vehicle inspections, and record-keeping.Maintain a valid Class A commercial driver's license and all required certifications. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition.Report any mechanical or safety issues to the supervisor and coordinate necessary repairs. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all trips, including route sheets, hours of service logs, and any other required documents.Complete and submit all documentation in a timely manner. Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service when interacting with customers at delivery and pick-up points.Address any customer issues or concerns in a professional and efficient manner. Collaboration: Work in coordination with logistics staff, warehouse personnel, and other drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.Communicate effectively with the transportation team and supervisors to report trip progress and any issues that arise. Qualifications: Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent is required. License and Certifications: Valid Class A commercial drivers license (CDL).Compliance with all Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) regulations and certifications. Experience: Previous experience as a Class A driver in a transportation or logistics environment is preferred. Technical Skills: Knowledge of D.O.T. regulations and best practices in transportation safety.Ability to perform inspections and basic maintenance of the vehicle. Competencies: Attention to Detail: Precision in handling cargo and required documentation.Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of and adherence to all D.O.T. regulations and company policies.Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers.Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.Safety Awareness: Commitment to road safety and compliance with regulations.Time Management: Efficient time management and ability to meet delivery schedules. Atencin al Cliente: Proveer un servicio de atencin al cliente de alta calidad al interactuar con los clientes en los puntos de entrega y recoleccin.Resolver cualquier problema o inquietud del cliente de manera profesional y eficiente. Colaboracin: Trabajar en coordinacin con el personal de logstica, almacn y otros conductores para asegurar la entrega puntual y eficiente de los productos.Comunicar de manera efectiva con el equipo de transporte y los supervisores para informar sobre el progreso del viaje y cualquier problema que surja. Calificaciones: Formacin Acadmica: Se requiere diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente. Licencia y Certificaciones: Licencia de conducir comercial (CDL) Clase A vlida.Cumplimiento con todas las regulaciones y certificaciones del Departamento de Transporte (D.O.T.). Experiencia: Experiencia previa como conductor Clase A en un entorno de transporte o logstica es preferida.
