Overview

Position Summary: The Per Diem Occupational Therapist I develops and delivers occupational therapy services to patients specific to age and developmental level by assessment, program planning, provision of treatment. Provides functional supervision to occupational therapy personnel assisting in patient treatment.

Minimum Education: Pediatric Internship; Basic knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices and CHLA patient care policies and procedures.

Education/Licensure/Certification: Graduation from an approved School of Occupational Therapy; Licensure by the California Board of Occupational Therapy; or eligible for certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current holder of limited permit issued by California Board of Occupational Therapy. Current American Heart Association BLS Health Care Provider CPR certification.

Minimum Experience: Four to six months of supervised clinical instruction and practice.

Pay Scale Information

USD $54.90 - USD $54.90

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
