What you'll do:
  • Perform RNC start-ups in regard to day-to-day procedures, company policies and start-up training methodology
  • Responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment failures, warranty related start-up issues and customer home comfort concerns
  • Help all Service Managers and RNC Managers with ideas for reducing costs of design related call backs, equipment performance/ design and department related waste
  • Maintain required levels of truck stock items
  • Report directly to first call of the day unless otherwise dispatched – on time
  • Proper diagnosis and repair of HVAC equipment
  • Explain procedures and policies to all new start-up technicians when asked
  • Complete paperwork daily, recording all hours and materials used on each job prior to leaving jobsite
  • Turn in all completed paperwork and related forms to Dispatcher daily, or as directed
  • Assist RNC / Service department with install related issues as directed by the Service Managers or RNC Managers
  • Provide customers with information on new equipment and accessories when necessary
  • Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Maintain a clean work van at all times

Requirements:
  • Three years related experience and/or training in customer service, management in a service industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Ability to read and interpret load calculations
  • Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
  • Valid Driver's License
  • EPA Certification
  • Heavy lifting is a daily task. Must be able to lift 50 to 100 lbs. on a daily basis
  • Must be able to get in and out of attics, crawl spaces, climb ladders, and work outdoors
