Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join our team at various locations across Pensacola, Florida; Mobile, Alabama; and San Antonio, Texas. This role is ideal for transitioning service members who possess technical skills and a strong work ethic, along with a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Remove and replace various aircraft components using special tooling and ground support equipment, following supervisor's directives and manuals.
Complete routine and non-routine maintenance and repair assignments efficiently and according to established procedures.
Maintain personal tools in serviceable condition and ensure a clean work area.
Adhere to safe maintenance practices and comply with all regulatory requirements.
Keep accurate records of work performed and communicate effectively with technical training teams.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Crew Chief.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Active transitioning member of the US Armed Services (completion between July 2024 and June 2025).
Ability to pass FAA drug and alcohol screening and background check.
Physical Requirements:
Mobility around various sections of aircraft.
Dexterity to remove and replace parts efficiently.
Mental agility to handle stress and long working hours.
Capacity to learn and adhere to safety protocols.
Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
