As the Field Training Manager, you'll be the driving force behind their training initiatives in the field. You'll develop, deliver, and manage training programs that ensure their operators, supervisors, and field staff are well-prepared, confident, and committed to safety and service excellence. Your goal? To create a high-performing team that understands the vital role they play in delivering top-tier transit services to the community.

What Will You Do?

Develop Training Programs: Design, implement, and update training curriculums tailored to the needs of field staff, with a strong emphasis on safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Lead Training Sessions: Conduct hands-on, practical training in the field, ensuring that employees are equipped to handle real-world challenges with confidence and expertise.

Mentor and Coach: Provide ongoing support and mentorship to employees, helping them develop the skills needed to advance in their roles.

Evaluate Performance: Assess the effectiveness of training programs and adjust them based on feedback, performance metrics, and evolving operational needs.

Safety Advocate: Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring all employees are trained in compliance with safety standards and protocols.

Stay Current: Keep up with industry best practices and advancements in training techniques, continuously refining programs to keep the team ahead of the curve.

Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with operations, HR, and management to align training initiatives with company goals and to ensure seamless integration into day-to-day operations.

Qualifications:

Training Expert: You have (3) years of experience in developing and delivering training programs, ideally in a transit or operations environment.

Hands-On Leader: You thrive in the field, working side-by-side with employees to ensure they receive the best training experience.

Engaging Communicator: You know how to make learning engaging, practical, and impactful, whether in the classroom or in the field.

Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for spotting opportunities for improvement and ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks.

Safety-Focused: You understand that safety is non-negotiable, and you make sure it's at the forefront of all training programs.

Adaptable and Resourceful: You can think on your feet and adapt your training to meet the changing needs of both the team and the operation.
