Let our generous differentials get you to where you want to be RVT compensation: $30 - $40/hr and a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Senior Veterinary Assistant compensation: $26 - $34/hr and a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus Our location differential is 10% of base pay Our swing shift differentials are $3/hour Our overnight shift differentials are $5/hour Some key responsibilities you will own in this role include: Assisting veterinarians in oncology procedures and treatments. Monitoring patients during chemotherapy and radiation therapy sessions. Providing compassionate care and support to both patients and their owners. Conducting diagnostic tests and preparing samples for analysis. Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with protocols. But most of all, you enjoy working with animals and their people Basic Required Qualifications: High school diploma 3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry, RVT license preferred Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriate Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP); must obtain within 60-days of hire or transfer into this role; (this requirement is waived if incumbent holds a valid CA-RVT license) Benefits: Highly competitive and comparable wages based on experience and skill set.
