Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Dublin Oncology team. As a key member of our team, you will assist veterinarians in oncology procedures and treatments, monitor patients during chemotherapy and radiation therapy sessions, and provide compassionate care and support to both patients and their owners.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in oncology procedures and treatments
- Monitor patients during chemotherapy and radiation therapy sessions
- Provide compassionate care and support to both patients and their owners
- Conduct diagnostic tests and prepare samples for analysis
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with protocols
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- 3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry, RVT license preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients
- Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP)
