The Solutions Architect will be instrumental in ensuring the successful implementation and integration of the new administration system within the employee benefits insurance domain. This role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in solution architecture and technical leadership, with a particular focus on employee benefits insurance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience coordinating efforts between internal teams, external vendors, and industry-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software vendor experts and internal teams to drive solutions and integration efforts, particularly in the employee benefits insurance space.
- Develop and refine high-level design and architecture, tailoring solutions to meet the specific needs of the employee benefits insurance domain.
- Engage with application development teams to ensure architectural alignment, focusing on solution design rather than hands-on coding.
- Provide architectural guidance for technologies such as event-driven architecture, file passing, ETL, and data management, with a focus on applications in the employee benefits insurance industry.
- Lead discussions on architectural solutions, emphasizing cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure) and their integration with employee benefits insurance systems.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment, addressing the unique challenges of the employee benefits insurance sector.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in solutions architecture and technical leadership, with a strong background in designing complex integration solutions within the employee benefits insurance space.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud environments, particularly AWS and Azure, and their application in insurance systems.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture, ETL processes, and data integration methodologies relevant to employee benefits insurance.
- Industry/domain knowledge in financial services, insurance, and specifically employee benefits insurance products is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with application development teams and stakeholders at the architectural level.
- Experience leading projects that involve both internal teams and third-party vendors, ensuring successful collaboration and delivery in the context of employee benefits insurance.
- Experience with software vendor solutions and software integration in the insurance industry.
- Ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to complex problems, particularly those related to employee benefits insurance.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
