Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 3+ years of recent Emergency Department experience required; experience in a critical access facility preferred; travel experience preferred License: New Hampshire RN License Certifications: ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: EPIC EMR experience is required and is non-negotiable; Traveler must have their own vehicle Job Description: - Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages in a fully equipped department capable of handling routine and complex cases.- Utilize critical thinking and sharp decision-making skills to prioritize and manage rapidly changing situations.- Obtain comprehensive health histories, conduct accurate physical assessments, and plan appropriate treatments.- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and other healthcare team members, navigating potentially high-stress interactions.- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to restructure duties and priorities as needed.- Show strong organizational skills and function effectively as a team player.- Required to work every other weekend and certain holidays as defined by the facility's needs. Travelers must be willing to work two of the following: Thanksgiving and the weekend after, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after, or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and the weekend after.- No block scheduling is approved for this role; all certifications must be provided in the profile.- Up to 5 days of requested time off during the assignment will be accepted, less is preferred.
