To focus on all Quality Improvement efforts of the agency and to oversee documentation received by all patient care staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Properly train all new patient care staff on Agencies' Policies and Procedures.
- Reviews quality of documentation submitted by patient care staff.
- Work with Auditing Department, in the continuous training of all patient care staff, according to documentation guidelines established by the agency.
- Verify the accuracy and proper documentation of all notes and OASIS submitted for verification.
- Responsible for the completion of our QA/UR/Performance Improvement programs and the proper follow-up as necessary.
- Liaison with Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (FMQAI), The Joint Commission, and Fazzi Associates in reference to CAHPS Program.
- Responsible for reviewing all OBQI/OBQM reports and its analysis.
- Conducts monthly in-services.
- Submits quarterly reports to all agency committees.
- Any other task as assigned by management.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- Must be a Florida LPN or a Florida RN.
- Home Health or administrative experience preferred.
- Responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.
- Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations.
- Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal communications, interpersonal skills and empathetic listening.
