The #1 Priority of this position is...

To focus on all Quality Improvement efforts of the agency and to oversee documentation received by all patient care staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Properly train all new patient care staff on Agencies' Policies and Procedures.
  • Reviews quality of documentation submitted by patient care staff.
  • Work with Auditing Department, in the continuous training of all patient care staff, according to documentation guidelines established by the agency.
  • Verify the accuracy and proper documentation of all notes and OASIS submitted for verification.
  • Responsible for the completion of our QA/UR/Performance Improvement programs and the proper follow-up as necessary.
  • Liaison with Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (FMQAI), The Joint Commission, and Fazzi Associates in reference to CAHPS Program.
  • Responsible for reviewing all OBQI/OBQM reports and its analysis.
  • Conducts monthly in-services.
  • Submits quarterly reports to all agency committees.
  • Any other task as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
  • Must be a Florida LPN or a Florida RN.
  • Home Health or administrative experience preferred.

  • Responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communications, interpersonal skills and empathetic listening.
