The Metal Recycling Warehouse Worker will be responsible for organizing the warehouse, sorting and placing materials in the correct areas, and operating equipment such as forklifts and loaders. The role also involves assisting customers with unloading materials, inspecting and identifying metals, and maintaining a clean and organized facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and organize materials in the warehouse
  • Operate forklifts, skid steers, or loaders to transfer metals
  • Assist customers with unloading materials
  • Inspect and identify metals for proper payment
  • Operate scales and material tracking systems
  • Load and unload materials for transportation
  • Perform general facility cleanup

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Experience operating equipment safely
  • Capability to lift and handle 75 pounds
  • Customer service skills
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
