Position Summary:

Responsible for coordinating day-to-day clinical services, operations, data collection, and leadership of the recovery navigators.

Qualifications:

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTSDriver's License upon hire and Proof of Auto Insurance upon hire. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSAt least 1 year working in the field of Addiction or Behavioral Health.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Meet credentialing requirements to provide substance use services.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEAdvanced reading, Writing and Oral skills Ability to respond appropriately to customer/co-worker. Interaction with a wide variety of people. Maintain confidential information. Ability to communicate only the facts to recipients or to decline to reveal information. Ability to project a professional, friendly, helpful demeanor. Basic computer knowledge: Uses word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail application, and web browser. Comfortable within Windows OS and learning new applications. Ability to utilize an electronic medical record.

Essential Functions:

  • MONITORS AND COORDINATES SERVICES* Maintains staffing patterns and day to day operations of recovery navigators. * Provides regular supervision and documents response to supervision.* Develops and maintains work schedule for clinical staff as needed. * Monitor admission and discharge process.* Responsible for selection, retention and training of personnel. * Supervises implementation of Standards of Excellence by staff.* Abides by guidelines outlined in the grant.* Supervises the initiation of standardized protocols for clinical care where indicated.* Ensures that discharge planning is individualized in accordance with the patient's/client's needs and requirements. * Oversees the activities of the recovery navigators. * May be responsible for transporting patients to appointments.* May provide direct care as needed to meet client needs. * Serve a back up to the recovery navigators * Develops and collects data as outlined in the grant and of importance in the operations.

  • MAINTAINS EFFECTIVE COMMUNCIATION AND TEAMWORK STYLE WITH COWORKERS, OTHER DEPARTMENTS, OTHER HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS AND THE COMMUNITY.* Will assist in the development and implementation of educational programs as needed and indicated in the grant.* Actively participate in communication, attendance in required meetings, and learning collaborative sessions with funder and other external partners.* Actively maintains a professional relationship with open communication with providers, units, clinics. * Actively maintains open communication & demonstrates a cooperative, teamwork style with patients, families, other staff members, other healthcare workers, medical staff and community. * Demonstrates organizational abilities through correct prioritization of duties, efficient and appropriate usage of time, and effective utilization of support personnel.

  • Required Documentation for EMR and Grant * Ability to understand data and provide analysis of the data. * Collection and reporting of data to inform process evaluation of the development, implementation, and functioning of the project. * Maintains computer proficiency and audit reporting of SAMHSA-SOR required data* Ensures accurate documentation* Assist with documentation in EMR to support quality initiatives* Assist with audits for medical necessity documents as requested* Oversees and ensures that data is entered timely and correct in the identified grant data base
