Travel Nurse Operating Room RN

Hours: Variable based on assignment

Compensation:$2,000-$3,500 per week talk to a recruiter today to receive a customized pay package based on your individual needsfor housing, rental car and benefits.

Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Operating Room RN to join our healthcare team in City, State. This position involves working on a travel basis providing high-quality patient care in intensive care units across various healthcare environments. Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to surgeons and surgical teams during operations, including preparing and maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments, and managing surgical supplies. Prepare patients for surgery by verifying consent, performing pre-operative assessments, positioning them correctly, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Continuously monitor and record patients' vital signs and overall condition during surgery, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies. Assist in the transfer of patients to the recovery area, provide initial post-operative care, and monitor for any immediate complications or side effects. Maintain accurate and detailed records of surgical procedures, patient interactions, and outcomes, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and coordinated care. Qualifications: Current and valid RN License in STATE. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Operating Room nursing. Bachelor's Degree (BSN) preferred. BLS and ACLS Certifications from the American Heart Association. Background check, drug test, and competency test required. COVID-19 Vaccination with POV. Benefits: Competitive pay rates.
