Mountain View, United States Reliable Robotics Corporation Full time
We're building safety-enhancing technology for aviation that will save lives. Automated aviation systems will enable a future where air transportation is safer, more convenient and fundamentally transformative to the way goods — and eventually people — move around the planet. We are a team of mission-driven engineers with experience across aerospace, robotics and self-driving cars working to make this future a reality.
As a Sr. Production and Engineering Technician at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Production organization and report to the Manufacturing and Supplier Engineering Manager. This is a small but growing team of highly motivated people that are passionate about delivering quality products and services, on-time, and with unquestionable value. Our commitment to safety is unmatched.
Responsibilities
As a key member of this team, you’ll play a critical role where you are responsible for building, operating, and testing complex systems, including electro-mechanical assemblies, wiring harnesses, components, and subassemblies. You'll also help the Flight and Integration team integrate those systems onto aircraft. You will serve as the last line of defense for ensuring that our safety-critical systems are reliable and compliant and produced to the intended engineering requirements. Basic Success Criteria

    • Experience with torque devices, digital multimeters, FOD prevention methods, inspection tools, or equivalent.
    • Demonstrated ability to learn technical material, interpret and work from drawings, controlled documentation, and processes such as layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures/work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and master parts lists
    • Ability to proficiently use a PC/Mac, Google Suite, manufacturing execution systems, JIRA, or equivalent tools
    • Ability to lift 25-pound boxes to a height of 3-4 feet, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Criteria
    • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
    • IPC and/or J-STD certification
    • Electro-mechanical assembly and prototype development experience
    • Experience setting up and running tests and experiments
    • Experience with electrical wiring
    • Soldering experience
    • Familiarity with dimensional inspection of mechanical components
Our team is passionate about delivering on our commitments, solving hard problems, continuously improving, and helping the business succeed. We are constantly reevaluating our technologies, products, and capabilities. If you are a lifelong learner, you will love this environment. Get in on the ground floor and help us build the company.
