Description: KION North America Corporation is a member of the KION GROUP AG, one of the world's two leading manufacturers of industrial trucks. KION has five locations in the Summerville area, a team of two help desk technician's, and one team lead that is responsible for making sure operations run smoothly in the help desk department. The team is currently behind on tickets and has too many tasks to focus on catching up. The team is looking to add a help desk technician highly motivated and willingness to learn. The contract will be two months with the possibility of extension. They will need to be a quick learner, as the team has little time to spare on additional training. The candidate will need up to two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. This candidate will install, configure, and maintain the organization's workstations, printers and related equipment. He/she will work with multiple hardware platforms at a entry level. The candidate must be willing to spend a various amounts of time driving from one location to another, transporting IT equipment. They will be considered the "hands" for the team. Both help desk technician's will be responsible for: • Inventory checks and cleanup • Cable management at user desks • Daily upkeep of IT areas • Data entry for inventory of IT equipment • Imaging Computers • Delivery of Equipment Skills: Troubleshooting, Customer service, Help desk, Support, Ticketing system, Help desk support, Service desk, Password reset, Hardware Top Skills Details: Troubleshooting,Customer service,Help desk,Support,Ticketing system Additional Skills & Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Associate degree in Computer Technology is a plus, no cybersecurity. • Must have reliable vehicle for transportation. • It is extremely important that this person is a hard worker and does not need a lot of hand holding. The company will provide some training, but it is minimal as the managers are so swamped with other tasks. A quick learner who is willing to take on multiple tasks at once, and can prioritize work effectively, is more likely to receive extension opportunities.
