Facilities Engineer

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of design experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility including equipment layouts, and/or mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction.
- Experienced in using CAD to produce layouts and construction documents
- Knowledge of building codes and standards
- Project Management experience in working a project from conception to completion
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Experience in producing installation/construction drawings in the layout of production, manufacturing, laboratory and warehouse facilities
- Experience in design engineering and capable of planning and conducting tasks requiring independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria
- Project estimating experience
- Knowledge of how to manage asbestos and lead hazards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
