Required Experience

Work Experience:

  • Five years minimum experience working as a licensed social worker.

License/Registration/Certification:

  • Must hold a current Texas Social Worker license and be in good standing with the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners.
  • Must hold a current Texas Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW) and be in good standing with the Texas State Board of Social Workers Examiners.
  • BLS certificate.

Education and Training:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited University required. Must hold a current LCSW.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable of Social Work principles and standard practices.
  • Experience in group therapy and counseling.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable of community resources.
