Position Information

Hiring Manager:
Assistant Controller

Position Responsibilities

  • Analysis of large amounts of data to produce financial, accounting and reporting deliverables
  • Utilize technological/analysis skills to develop new reporting and analysis and automating current reports and analyses
  • Assisting in various ad hoc projects and requests - both within the Reporting group and across the firm
  • Use of Queries, D-base Exports, and data mining to access data
  • Work closely with other Fund Accounting personnel on implementing efficient and effective processes for reporting on Golub's fast growing private funds business - need to maintain strong control while driving efficiency, standardization, and automation in a collaborative manner
Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Ability to work full-time from approximately June to mid-August
  • Rising senior (winter 2024 or spring 2025 graduate)
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, while demonstrating strong teamwork
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time and priorities under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, analytical and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in hybrid in-office environment in Chicago, IL
  • Abide by the work-in-office policy then in effect
