Therapist uses his/her abilities to provide intense residential therapeutic services, using a therapeutic model. Treating children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders in individual, group and family settings

In the residential environment, you’ll be able to touch base with your clients daily, reaching out to help them learn coping skills and ways to manage the trauma they’ve been through. Responsibilities:

  • Engages in Therapeutic activities with the youth.
  • Is a member of themultidisciplinary treatment team and attends treatment team meetings, completes identified assessments, develops and implements treatment plan with the youth and the youth’s family.
  • Assists the youth and their family in identifying discharge placement and aftercare services.
  • Responsible for utilization review with insurance
  • Provides smooth transition when the youth are moved to OOH placement
  • Reports critical and unusual incidents to Risk Management.
  • Assists in monitoring the overall client satisfaction of the program
Requirements/ Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences
  • Valid driver license
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Licensed certified in the following:
    • LCMFT
    • LCPC
    • LPC
    • LMFT
      LMSW
    • LSCSW
