What You Will Do:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Production team. The Painter/Finisher is responsible for preparing, mixing, painting, assembling, and finishing of various instruments and assemblies in production as well as the touchup of customer products returned for repair. Additionally, the incumbent would operate the die press, arbor press, and other various tools used in the production process.

This on-site position is located at our headquarters in Oak Creek Wisconsin. You will report directly to the Supervisor of Receiving & Shipping and Finishing/Prep.

How You Will Do It:

· Performs painting and finishing of various parts, and final assemblies using spray gun, airbrush, and paint booth.

· Performs cleaning, masking, and prep work before painting and finishing.

· Uses paint mixer to mix various types of paint per specification.

· Uses calipers, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and other hand tools to perform assembly or disassembly of assemblies or sub-assemblies.

· Uses arbor press, drill press, and various other pieces of equipment for assembly and finishing work.

· Follows shop orders, engineering drawings, or production work instructions.

What We Look For:

Required:

· High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

· Minimum one year of experience prepping, painting, and finishing using various types of spray guns working in a spray booth.

· Must have fine manual dexterity skills.

· Able to follow standard written work instructions and comprehend electronic and mechanical drawings and schematics.

· Able to pass English comprehension test (in order to meet requirements of our FAA Repair Station.

· Able to utilize a computer and be familiar with MS Word, Excel.

Physical Requirements:
• Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift items up to 35 pounds.

Preferred:

· Three years of experience prepping, painting, and finishing using various types of spray guns working in a spray booth.

· Two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment using hand tools and various equipment.
