Pulmonology-Critical Care

A hospital system in Staten Island is looking for a Pulmonary-Critical Care Physician to join there growing team.
Responsibilities:
The Pulmonologist will:
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations related to respiratory symptoms
- Work 80% Pulmonary cases, 20% Critical Care Procedures.
- Evaluate patients with breathing difficulties, chronic cough, chest pain, and other respiratory issues
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results to aid in diagnosis
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on the diagnosis
- Prescribe appropriate medications
- Manage chronic respiratory diseases
- Provide education on disease management and lifestyle adjustments
- Manage patients in critical condition
- Perform other duties, as needed
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified in Pulmonology
- Fellowship trained
- Experience with Endobronchial Ultrasound and Navigational Bronchoscopy
