Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician to join our team at a hospital system in Staten Island. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations related to respiratory symptoms
  • Work 80% on pulmonary cases and 20% on critical care procedures
  • Evaluate patients with breathing difficulties, chronic cough, chest pain, and other respiratory issues
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Analyze and interpret laboratory results to aid in diagnosis
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on the diagnosis
  • Prescribe appropriate medications
  • Manage chronic respiratory diseases
  • Provide education on disease management and lifestyle adjustments
  • Manage patients in critical condition
  • Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
  • Board Eligible/Certified in Pulmonology
  • Fellowship trained
