Responsibilities: • Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests’ needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs • Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information • Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information • Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests • Field customer complaints when necessary • Maintain confidentiality of guest information • Verify bill with guest, post necessary charges, adjustments, and payments • Inform guests about the property and city attractions (restaurant, lounge, health club, museums, parks, events) • Report any technical issues and maintenance needs Qualifications: • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations • Take ownership of job duties and responsibilities • Work with integrity with the team and while alone on shift • Ability to work with little or no supervision • Ability to handle financial transactions in the form of credit/debit cards, cash, checks, vouchers, etc. • Must have flexibility with scheduling Compensation: $16.50 - $17.50 Hourly
