Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Ultrasound Technologist to perform routine and specialized ultrasound examinations with a high level of expertise, adapt procedures for specific diagnostic and therapeutic results, and prepare patients for examinations. In this role, you will also act as a preceptor and resource technologist, providing training and guidance to employees and students in addition to fulfilling daily functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Evaluate finished images to ensure diagnostic exams meet standards
  • Maintain expert knowledge of ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot equipment issues, and develop and record protocols under the direction of Medical Directors
  • Provide ongoing support and training for staff, monitor and maintain skill levels, and facilitate staff development and new employee orientation
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, maintain accreditation, and ensure equipment maintenance
