Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for medical interpretation
  • Prepare patients for examinations and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and reports
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • ARDMS National Certification and state-specific licensing when required
  • BLS certification
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
