DURATION: Contract to hire - Consultants must be authorized to work without sponsorship now or in future since client may convert to perm in 6 months.

LOCATION: HYBRID. Needs to be local or re lo to MN or TN as they will return to office in the near future.

PROJECT DETAILS:

On call rotation. Full team. 7 people rotate this as of now. With this fill it will be 8. Full 7 day (including weekends) schedule. On call for issues. They are tier 2 issues only so only if it needs to be escalated from Tier 1. 1 person on call per day for a week straight. Typically don't have to work through issues much past 1AM if there are any.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:
  • Kubernetes OR Airflow W/Strong python
OR
  • Azure Databricks W/Strong python
  • Kubernetes - on-prem and azure kubernetes
  • Postgres
  • Language - Python
  • Containerized experience - docker
  • CI/CD Jenkins
  • Airflow
  • Cloud (good to have)
  • Willing to be part of Prod support
Project Scope / Components: Moving things out of ODI and orchestrate in Airflow + maintain the environment in Kubernetes (Airflow servers rolling out of Airflow pods).

High-Level Individual Duties:
  • Framework is built...they are moving them slowly from ODI to airflow
  • New product development as well for 'new' clients (work with Azure components) ex. Move from one service bus to another
Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):
  • Senior level Python experience - specifically looking for 9-10 years
  • Kubernetes - Containerization/Docker
  • SQL - must have strong SQL skills
  • Oracle DB experience
