Shift Details: 7p-7a 24 hours per week, every third weekend, every other holiday

This is made possible by being home to the largest robotic surgery center in the Northeast and the Center for Education, Simulation and Innovation (CESI), one of the most-advanced medical simulation training centers in the world. We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Leader for the Telemetry Center to oversee a team of Central Monitor Technicians and ensure efficient department operations. Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of Daily Workflow
  • Subject Matter Expert in cardiac and physiological monitoring
  • Education and Training for department protocols and policies
  • Shift Transitions to maintain continuity of care
  • Daily Huddles to discuss unit initiatives
  • Liaison Role between the CMU and inpatient clinical staff
  • Staffing Management for the department
  • Process Improvement and implementation of evidence-based best practices
  • Collaborative Leadership for the best possible patient outcomes
  • Staff Development through teaching, coaching, and mentoring

Qualifications

  • BS degree required; MSN preferred
  • Minimum one-year nursing and telemetry experience
  • Current RN CT License
  • Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician [CRAT] or equivalent preferred
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to process improvement and evidence-based practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
