Sr. Android Engineer

What You Will Do:

  • Take the lead on maintaining, enhancing, and releasing Android applications, ensuring top-notch quality and performance.

  • Work closely with clients and third-party vendors to define and meet technical requirements, crafting customized solutions that integrate seamlessly with external systems.

  • Spearhead the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of technical issues across both desktop and mobile platforms.

  • Collaborate with Product Development, UX Designers, and QA teams to develop high-quality products and solve complex technical challenges.

  • Engage in hands-on development, provide mentorship to fellow engineers, and promote best practices in code quality and software design.

  • Actively participate in all phases of the Agile SDLC, from planning to Scrum/Kanban boards, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within and across teams.

What You Will Need To Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in programming, designing APIs for data architectures, and maintaining enterprise software applications.

  • Strong background in writing unit tests and enhancing client applications with them.

  • Deep understanding of client-server interactions, cloud-based enterprise systems scaling, and data structures and algorithms.

What Would Be Great To Have:

  • Profound knowledge and experience in Android application architecture.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, specifically Gradle/Kotlin DSL for Android development.

  • Experience in the Fintech space, particularly with platforms like Clover and in e-commerce environments.

  • Expertise in microservice-based architectures.
