Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Native Developer (iOS/Android) to join our team for

an exciting project with eBay. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of native

mobile development, experience with building high-performance mobile applications, and

expertise in working with eCommerce platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

● Mobile App Development: Develop, enhance, and maintain mobile applications using

native technologies for iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java).

● UI/UX Design Implementation: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the

implementation of intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that align with eBay’s

standards.

● API Integration: Work closely with backend teams to integrate mobile applications with

RESTful APIs and web services.

● Performance Optimization: Optimize the mobile apps for speed, responsiveness, and

efficient resource usage, ensuring top-notch performance.

● Code Reviews & Testing: Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure

comprehensive test coverage for app functionality.

● Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve performance issues, bugs, and

other technical challenges on mobile platforms.

● Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA

engineers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality features in a timely manner.

● App Store Management: Manage the release process, including uploading apps to the

Apple App Store and Google Play Store, handling updates, and monitoring

performance through analytics.


Required Skills & Experience:

● Native Mobile Development: Strong proficiency in iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and/or

Android (Kotlin/Java) development.

● Mobile Architecture: Solid understanding of mobile architectures, patterns (MVC,

MVVM), and best practices.

● API Integration: Experience in integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs and

third-party libraries.

● UI/UX Principles: Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles for mobile, with the ability to

implement responsive designs for various screen sizes.

● Version Control: Experience using Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines for

automating mobile app builds and deployments.

● Experience with eCommerce: Understanding of mobile eCommerce applications,

payment gateways, and transaction flows.

● Knowledge of App Store and Google Play Store submission processes, with

experience in app release cycles, updates, and performance monitoring.

● Testing & Debugging: Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit,

Espresso, XCTest) and tools for debugging and performance optimization.

● Experience with agile development methodologies and working in an agile

environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

● Prior experience working with eCommerce platforms like eBay is a major plus.

● Familiarity with mobile security practices, including OAuth, JWT, and secure data

storage.

● Experience with push notifications, in-app purchases, and mobile analytics tools

(e.g., Firebase, Crashlytics).

● Exposure to cross-platform mobile development frameworks like React Native or

Flutter is a plus.

● Knowledge of GraphQL for efficient API management.
