Job Summary:

The Installed Base Data Analytics Manager is a key role in Tranter LHE's global service strategy. This position is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive database of shipped units, providing data-driven insights to support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives. The goal is to optimize operational uptime for customers in the heat exchanger industry. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure data accuracy and accessibility across Tranter LHE's global installed base.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives that reduce costs and prevent unplanned downtime.
  • Drive data-informed decision-making within the service and product support functions.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Database Development & Management:
  • Create and maintain a detailed database of all shipped units, focusing on data integrity and global accessibility.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and sales teams to ensure real-time updates and a complete view of the installed base.
Data Analytics for Predictive Maintenance:
  • Apply big data analytics to monitor equipment conditions, identifying maintenance needs proactively.
  • Refine predictive models to deliver maintenance insights specific to heat exchanger performance.
Reporting & Advanced Analysis:
  • Generate detailed reports and trend analyses to support strategic service decisions and enhance product management.
  • Provide actionable insights for reliability improvements, customer satisfaction, and product lifecycle management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with sales and service teams, supporting planning, training, and customer service through data access and insights.
  • Assist in developing tools and dashboards that allow teams to interpret and utilize installed base data efficiently.
Process Improvement:
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize data collection and management processes to enhance database accuracy and reliability.
  • Implement best practices and advocate for process efficiencies in data management across the organization.
Skills/Competencies required:
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially in relation to equipment reliability and predictive maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate data insights clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in database management, data visualization, and big data analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL or similar database query languages.
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of data analytics experience in a technical or business-related role.
  • Experience in manufacturing or service industries is required.
  • Familiarity with industrial maintenance processes or product lifecycle management is advantageous.
