Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Data Analytics to lead the development, implementation, and execution of data-driven strategies that support the achievement of key business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data analytics, data management, and data governance, with a proven track record of managing teams of data analysts and engineers while collaborating with stakeholders across multiple departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a team of data engineers and data analysts, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure team success.

  • Lead and actively participate in hands-on project and product management, overseeing critical initiatives from planning through execution to ensure alignment with business goals and successful delivery.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align the data and analytics strategy with overall business objectives.

  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and present actionable recommendations to inform decision-making.

  • Drive the development and execution of a comprehensive data-driven strategy that supports organizational goals.

  • Develop and maintain robust data infrastructure to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.

  • Define and implement metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of data-driven initiatives.

  • Identify and recommend tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the data analytics team.

  • Establish and lead a data governance framework to ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency across the organization.

  • Develop and implement AI strategies, ensuring they align with business goals and deliver scalable, impactful results.

  • Lead the growth of data science and machine learning capabilities, driving the development and deployment of predictive models and analytics solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in data-focused roles (e.g., data analytics, data management, data governance, and data engineering), including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.

  • Strong understanding of the Business Intelligence (BI) ecosystem, including data ingestion, warehousing, governance, reporting, analytics, and predictive modeling.

  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams of data professionals.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify the root questions and provide clear, actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex, data-driven insights to senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of the homebuilding or real estate industry is a plus but not required.
