Director of Data Analytics

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Data Analytics to lead the development, implementation, and execution of data-driven strategies that support the achievement of key business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data analytics, data management, and data governance, with a proven track record of managing teams of data analysts and engineers while collaborating with stakeholders across multiple departments.
Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a team of data engineers and data analysts, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure team success.
Lead and actively participate in hands-on project and product management, overseeing critical initiatives from planning through execution to ensure alignment with business goals and successful delivery.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align the data and analytics strategy with overall business objectives.
Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and present actionable recommendations to inform decision-making.
Drive the development and execution of a comprehensive data-driven strategy that supports organizational goals.
Develop and maintain robust data infrastructure to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.
Define and implement metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of data-driven initiatives.
Identify and recommend tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the data analytics team.
Establish and lead a data governance framework to ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency across the organization.
Develop and implement AI strategies, ensuring they align with business goals and deliver scalable, impactful results.
Lead the growth of data science and machine learning capabilities, driving the development and deployment of predictive models and analytics solutions.
Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience in data-focused roles (e.g., data analytics, data management, data governance, and data engineering), including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.
Strong understanding of the Business Intelligence (BI) ecosystem, including data ingestion, warehousing, governance, reporting, analytics, and predictive modeling.
Experience managing and developing high-performing teams of data professionals.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify the root questions and provide clear, actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex, data-driven insights to senior leadership.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of the homebuilding or real estate industry is a plus but not required.
