Our client is the world aerospace leader in dedicated lean-cell manufacturing. They are a privately held company with a 50+ history in aerospace manufacturing specializing in complex, high-tolerance, difficult-to-machine parts.
They are looking for an Quality Assurance QA Inspector, Level 1. In this role, you will provide documented objective evidence of inspection status. Inspectors support production, management and customer interaction, when required. Inspectors report directly to the Inspection Supervisor.

Location: Chatsworth, CA
Salary: $22.00-26.00/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 3:00PM - 11:30PM (2nd shift). Other shifts might be availalble.

Responsibilities:
  • Ability to interpret drawing requirements
  • Understand inspection requirements as established through the RTC Aerospace
  • Understand Specifications
  • Ability to use precision measurement instruments
  • Ability to complete documents, such as rejection tags, corrective actions and any records in the support of objective evidence as it pertains to the quality initiatives required within the internal quality system requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years inspection experience in a machining/manufacturing environment
  • Basic shop math
  • Ability to read and interpret customer specifications
  • High school diploma/or equivalent
  • Team-player with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works safely and as part of a high performing team.
  • Preferred: Experience in machining and/or aerospace industry
  • Preferred: Knowledge of any or all of the following quality standards: MIL-I-45208A, 1SO 9001:2000, SAE AS9100, ISO:9000, AS9102
  • Preferred: CMM experience
  • Preferred: Dimensional/surface plate experience
