SUMMARY:The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical and end-user support skills; including communication, documentation, and problem-solving. As an IT Support Technician, you will assist in providing first-tier hardware and software support to 300+ local and remote employees. Responsibilities will also include minimal server, AD, and email administration, as well as issue resolution coordination and communication with third-party vendors. Eligible candidates must also demonstrate a desire to learn and support in-house and third-party business systems.

IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Communicate professionally, courteously, and effectively with employees, vendors and customers
  • Demonstrate an innate desire to learn about surrounding technology and related business processes
  • Work within normal business hours Monday through Friday and occasional off-hours for on-call support and special projects
  • Adhere to applicable IT procedures and policies, supporting compliance in publicly traded healthcare
  • Multi-task and prioritize a dynamically changing workload prioritizing security and business risks
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and adherence to documentation and compliance requirements
  • Provide primary support for remote and local PC hardware, software, peripherals, accounts, VoIP phones and basic connectivity issues
  • Manage large fleet of iPad devices and related mobile accounts through AT&T and Verizon
  • Utilize the company’s ITSM platform to record relevant support information, prioritize tasks, escalate issues (when necessary), and document resolution in a timely fashion
  • Communicate with and train end-users to utilize common technologies within the infrastructure
  • Utilize troubleshooting and technical skills, remote-support software, and industry-standard diagnostic tools to identify and resolve problems
  • Utilize and contribute to IT knowledge base and help maintain established policies, procedures, and workflows
  • Coordinate and execute local and remote workstation deployments
  • Complete periodically assigned projects, such as hardware refreshes
  • Perform most assignments with minimal supervision
  • Participate in on-going company-sponsored training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
  • IT related bachelor’s degree and 4+ years’ experience; or associate degree, technical certifications, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Familiar with Windows 10 and typical Active Directory structure and administration
  • Experience supporting Apple iPads and MDM management; Maas360 knowledge preferred
  • Citrix and thin client background preferred
  • Experience with Office 365 and Office Products
  • Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM best practices
  • Self-sufficient and able to complete complex tasks with minimal supervision
  • Experience imaging laptops and desktops
  • Able to participate in shared 24x7 on call rotation
  • Familiar with HIPAA and SOX compliance
