Join our team of highly skilled Bilingual Cardiac Cath Lab RNs

UNM Hospitals is currently looking for a talented and experienced Bilingual RN to work in our Cardiac Cath Lab. In this role, you will work within the nursing process to provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, including Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric age groups. You will also be expected to lead other staff, assume relief charge duties, ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures, and provide a positive work environment and quality patient care.

Job Details:

  • Full time, day shift position
  • Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Reimbursement available
  • Earn up to $8.00 in addition to base pay through the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP)
  • Receive 17% weekday nights, 26% weekend nights, or 15% weekend day shift differentials

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients
  • Work in collaboration with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans
  • Assist with special tests and procedures
  • Participate in orientation and assume precepting and evaluation responsibilities of new personnel
  • Identify and report/correct environmental conditions and/or situations that may put a patient at undue risk

Your Qualifications:

  • Program Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
  • Bilingual in English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days

Physical Requirements:

  • Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people
  • Sig Hazard: Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials req PPE
