This position is also responsible for creating, vetting and processing testing procedures per customer requirements. Essential Functions: Maintenance & Repair: Perform regular and preventive maintenance on manufacturing and facilities equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, implementing corrective actions promptly to maintain production schedules. Optimization: Identify opportunities for equipment improvements and efficiency enhancements, recommending and implementing modifications. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance metrics. Testing: Develop testing equipment and procedures that meet customer requirement. Ensure testing equipment functions as it should. Document procedure and train production personnel to operate test. Will be responsible to test product in the event production needs support Safety Compliance: Ensure all equipment complies with safety regulations and company standards, conducting regular safety checks and risk assessments. Collaboration: Work closely with production, process engineering, and quality assurance teams to support manufacturing processes and address equipment-related issues. Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to junior technicians and production staff on equipment operation and maintenance best practices. Inventory Management: Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available for immediate repairs. Qualifications: Education: Associate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in production engineering, equipment maintenance, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with PLC programming and automation systems is a plus. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Certifications: Relevant certifications in equipment maintenance and safety standards are desirable. Must be able to move continuously throughout the facillity and bend, kneel, lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
