SUMMARY:
As a Radiologic Technologist I, you will support radiologists in performing imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostics while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
STATUS: Full-Time
LOCATION: Wilson Health Center
DEPARTMENT: Radiology
WORK SCHEDULE: Open 7 days a week from 9 AM - 9 PM on weekdays and 9 AM - 8 PM on weekends; Flexible scheduling available, including three 12-hour shifts per week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Completed a 2-year college certificate in radiologic technology or equivalent
Preferred experience as a Radiologic Technologist
New York State license in Radiologic Technology required or must possess a NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire
ARRT Certification within 1 year of hire
Excellent patient service skills essential
Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision
Exceptional documentation and computer skills along with professional demeanor
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Patient Care: Conduct radiographic procedures for patients in all assigned areas, ensuring timely service during unsupervised shifts and providing on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology while delivering outstanding patient service.
General Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in treatment rooms regularly.
Documentation: Accurately document patient exams and procedures using RIS/PACS and patient charts as required.

AAS in Radiologic Technology (Required)LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
R - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M - Medium work: Able to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.For specific care programs, please refer to departmental guidelines for experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.
PAY RANGE: $28.25 - $37.00
