STATUS: Full Time LOCATION: RRH Orthopaedics, float between Greece and Chili OfficesDEPARTMENT: RRH OrthopaedicsSCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pmATTRIBUTESRadiologic Technologist experience preferredExcellent patient service skillsCritical thinking skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervisionExceptional documentation/computer skills and professional behaviorMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:2 years college certificate in radiologic technology or equivalentRadiologic Technologist experience preferred.NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire.American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) required within 1 year of hire.RESPONSIBILITIESPatient Care. Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts; provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology; provide excellent patient service General Maintenance. Clean, restock and prepare rooms on a daily basisDocumentation. Ensure concise, and complete documentation of patient exams and related procedures, utilizing the RIS/PACS and in-patient charts as necessaryEDUCATION:AS: Radiologic Technology (Required)LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE:$26.25 - $33.00CITY:RochesterPOSTAL CODE:14626The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
