Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with the National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA). Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Must be able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period. Minimum Qualifications: One (1) year back office medical assistant experience in an outpatient clinic, physician’s office, or related experience.
