We are seeking an experienced technical leader to join our team as a Full Stack Lead Developer to evolve our product suite and user experience by designing and developing scalable and maintainable solutions for complex financial systems. As a Full Stack Lead Developer at ePayPolicy, you will join a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial team where you will play a pivotal role in leading developers in delivering secure, performant code. You'll pair with members of the Engineering, Product, and QA teams on a daily basis, gathering requirements, defining technical specifications, and planning software projects that enable us to exceed our users' needs by iterating on our current products and delivering new, cutting edge SaaS solutions to our customers.
What you will do:
- Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and plan software projects.
- Design and architect scalable solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, development methodologies and best practices for the engineering team.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Remain hands-on in your contributions by developing high-quality, clean, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft technologies, tools, and frameworks, and proactively suggest their adoption where applicable.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in software development and design with at least 2 years of experience managing and developing engineers through 1:1s and continuous learning opportunities.
- At least two years of Payment Processing, InsurTech, and Premium Financing software experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Azure.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices leveraging things like dependency injection, RESTful APIs, MVC, and Entity Framework to name a few.
- Certification in relevant Azure PaaS technologies
- Experience with large data store technology, particularly Google BigQuery.
- Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members towards achieving technical excellence. Experience hiring top development talent.
