The Camp Recovery Center is a leader in addiction treatment. Our programming combines a variety of treatment modalities and experiential therapies. We can help you build a strong foundation for lasting recovery.

Over the past three decades, The Camp has built a nationally recognized reputation and has established long-standing relationships with the medical and therapeutic communities. We have earned accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and we are licensed by Alcohol and Drug Programs of California (ADP). The Camp is also a member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP).

Every person's experience of addiction is unique. And though most forms of addiction share some common features, each person has symptoms and treatment needs that are specific to them.

This is where experience really matters when choosing a drug rehab program. For 25 years, The Camp has provided cutting-edge substance abuse treatment to thousands of adults and adolescents struggling with addictions to cocaine, methamphetamine, alcohol, prescription medications and other drugs. Our clinical team creates individualized treatment plans that utilize the blend of therapies that will best serve each patient's needs and recovery goals.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE COUNSELOR:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions and group or family sessions as scheduled and document as required.
• Facilitate assigned group or family sessions and assist with modifying problem behaviors.
• Responsible for initial assessments, as well as follow up assessment for client.
• Prepare individual treatment plan for each assigned client.
• Evaluate the needs of the client and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities is needed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALLING REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in social or health services field preferred
• Licensure or certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor, as required by California (CADC)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Personal experience serving in military or has 1 or more years' experience working with veterans.
