As a Senior Embedded Wi-Fi System Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing embedded firmware for Wi-Fi-enabled devices. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity and robust performance as you drive development of future planning.
JOB DUTIES:
- Firmware Development: Design and implement/enhance embedded Wi-Fi firmware using languages like C and C++.
- Wi-Fi Protocol Expertise: Deep understanding of 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and Wi-Fi security protocols.
- Device Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate Wi-Fi modules into embedded systems.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize Wi-Fi performance, including signal strength, roaming behavior, and power efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve Wi-Fi-related issues in real-world scenarios.
- Security Implementation: Ensure secure communication, encryption, and protection against vulnerabilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge/experience
- 5+ years in embedded software development, specifically focused on Wi-Fi.
- Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems.
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi chipsets, drivers, and protocols.
- Familiarity with RF spectrum analysis tools.
- Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
- Knowledge of FreeRTOS and Embedded Linux.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex Wi-Fi issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and QA.
- Master's degree
- Relevant experience in home automation products and residential market

- Work in a Hybrid setting (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
