[Primary duties include providing quality customer service, answer visitor questions via phone or in-person, explain rules and regulations. Incumbents should be proficient in basic use of computer and email, update social media content, monitor special events, may collect fees, sell tickets, operate light vehicles, may train lower-level seasonal employees, keeps facilities clean and orderly. [Special Requirements:]{arial",sans-serif"=""}]{arial",sans-serif"=""} A valid Drivers License is required. Department approved uniform is required to be worn during work hours. The incumbents work schedule may be 40hrs per week. May be required to work weekends and Holidays as the need arises. May travel between parks. [For Angel Island State Park only[: Operating motor vehicles and functioning as a deck hand on State-owned vessels may also be part of the duties of this position. This position is subject to pre-employment and random drug screening as required by the US Coast Guard. * [Priority consideration will be given to any person receiving State public assistance under the CalWORKS program. Applicants who receive State public assistance need to identify their status as a CalWORKS recipient in the comments area on the application. Applicants must submit a verification of their CalWORKS eligibility status, which may include the most recent Notice of Action showing TANF eligibility or a copy of your last aid check stub. If verification is not submitted with the application, the application will not be processed.
