[Primary duties include providing quality customer service, answer visitor questions via phone or in-person, explain rules and regulations, be part of summer camp programming and logistics, check in/out campers. Incumbents should be proficient in basic use of computer and email, may collect fees, sell tickets, participate in nature walks, junior ranger programs, operate light vehicles, account for supplies and equipment, keeps facilities clean and orderly. [Special Requirements:]{arial",sans-serif"=""}]{arial",sans-serif"=""} A valid Drivers License may be required. Department approved uniform may be required to be worn during work hours. The incumbents work schedule may be 40hrs per week. May be required to work weekends and Holidays as the need arises. May travel between parks. [For Angel Island State Park only[: Operating motor vehicles and functioning as a deck hand on State-owned vessels may also be part of the duties of this position. This position is subject to pre-employment and random drug screening as required by the US Coast Guard. * [Priority consideration will be given to any person receiving State public assistance under the CalWORKS program.
