Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to ESD policies during work hours.
  • Understand the test process, test flow, and test cycle time by stage and model.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to execute test operations:
  • Check in Servers/Racks and configure them to start tests stage by stage.
  • Monitor the test progress during the testing cycle.
Handling Test Failures:
  • Retest failed servers based on the retest list provided by Test Engineers (TE).
  • Write failure symptoms and deliver failed servers to the debug station.
  • Check in repaired servers and restart tests from the beginning.
Handling Test Hang Servers:
  • Locate and address test hang servers according to the test monitor.
  • Check the server test status:
  • If the server is hung or the test is not running, power cycle the server to continue testing and report to the Line Leader.
  • If the server test is good but the test monitor status is not updated, report to the Line Leader/TE.
General Duties:
  • Check out test-passed Servers/Racks and move them to the packaging area.
  • Check in new Servers/Racks to empty test slots/locations promptly.
  • Issue reports in a timely manner and follow up:
  • For single failures/issues, follow SOP to proceed with test/retest operations.
  • For more than three similar failures/issues on the same rack, report to the Line Leader/TE immediately.
  • Follow up with the Line Leader/TE within one hour if no action is taken.
  • Maintain a well-organized work area in compliance with the 5S policy.
  • Ensure all servers are in a good, healthy test stage at all times.
  • Follow supervisors' instructions related to the job.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or above.
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Skills:
  • Knowledge of computers and electronics is required.
  • Good verbal and written English skills are preferred.
