Summary

Mid Coast Medical Group is seeking a dynamic Physician Assistant (PA) for a new, dual-setting role with Women's Health and General Surgery. Role requirements involve providing surgical assist and inpatient rounding for surgical and gynecological patients, as well as postoperative care and medical management services in the outpatient setting. This PA will function closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. This position is a full-time, 40-hour position, with 8-10 hour shifts.

Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • Master's degree in PA studies from an ARC-PA accredited PA program.
  • Current state license in good standing, or the ability to obtain licensing in Maine.
  • DEA certificate with prescribing privileges.
  • Certified Surgical First Assist.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum of two years PA experience required.
